Simulate the application and effects of national power

0 = Actor 2 · 50 = neutral · 100 = Actor 1. Edits set values at the scenario start day and require a new run.
Select Actions
Use negative days before Day 0, or positive days after it.
Generate Random Plan
Replaces the current action plan with random actions with seeded chance outcomes.PMESII Simulation
Shows the selected faction’s six PMESII scores and Cooperation Level (their arithmetic mean), not a country average. These selectors do not change action targets. PMESII scale: 0 = favors Actor 2 (MURINUS) · 50 = neutral · 100 = favors Actor 1 (NATO)Choose actions to explore a possible future

Explain Faction PMESII Changes
Explore effects for the selected faction up to the selected Day. This is a rule-based explanation of alignment changes, not a prediction of conditions.

Download results or daily cooperation values from the last completed simulation. Upload an MSDL to preserve its contents and add your cooperation results on export.

Country map
Select a country on the map or in the list to compare its factions. The map shows the current workspace; selecting a country does not change action targets.
Small circles make the smallest countries selectable; they do not show country size. Country shading shows selection, not an average faction score.

Faction influence
Influence is a share of political influence within this country, not a population estimate. PMESII itself measures alignment; there are no separate actor-alignment scores.
Editing one share automatically redistributes the remainder among the others. Apply to save. Influence totals 100% and currently has no effect on scores, actions, or Actor 2 decisions.
Action Settings
Action Defaults
Choose an action to load its defaults into the draft. Editing subvariable effects changes the draft immediately; use Apply action defaults to save them to this workspace’s catalog.
Inspect & tune subvariable effectsPositive points benefit the acting actor; opposing actor points are reversed in the preview and results. S = success; F = failure.
These are base catalog points before amplification. The Simulator’s Total Effect preview includes the selected amplification level.
Saved defaults apply to future selections and generated plans, and to logged actions that inherit catalog values. Explicit overrides already stored in the Action Plan and Log are kept. Return to Simulator to add the current draft. Export MSDL saves workspace model edits so they can be restored on import.

Model Settings
1× is the new standard: twice the original action strength. 0.5× restores the original strength; 4× is four times the new standard. Applies equally to both actors’ success and failure effects. Downstream rules propagate the amplified changes without applying this multiplier again. Score limits still apply.
Each faction has six PMESII alignment scores. Each is the weighted average of its subvariable scores, calculated separately from the other main variables.
PMESII variable score = Σ(subvariable score × weight) ÷ Σ(weights in that variable)
Subvariable values are limited to 0–100. A score of 0 favors Actor 2, 50 is neutral, and 100 favors Actor 1. Influence shares do not enter this calculation. Weights are relative within each main variable; they do not need to total 1 or 100.
PMESII subvariable weights
Changing weights changes both starting and simulated main-variable scores; it does not change stored subvariable values or causal rule strengths. Run again after applying weights. Effects Reference documents the bundled snapshot and does not update with workspace edits.
